Senior Chief Constructionman Steven Jennings from Newfield, New York, raises his hand to take the oath of enlistment during his reenlistment ceremony at Naval Construction Group (NCG) 1. NCG 1 leads and manages the overall capability and readiness of Naval Construction Regiments, Naval Mobile Construction Battalions, Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit, and Underwater Construction Team. NCG1 is responsible for manning, training, equipping and deploying combat-ready Naval Construction Force units in support of combatant commanders and Navy component commander.
