Julian Mangum (r) and Ricky Horton (l), from the Julian Mangum Band, was invited to be the opening act for a concert hosted by Naval Ordnance Test Unit's Morale, Welfare, and Recreation department at Cape Canaveral Space Station, Florida, June 22. Thompson Square was the headlining act for the evening and is one of several events across the globe all a part of a much larger project called “Operation MWR.” The concert was set outdoors near the USS Nathanael Greene submarine sail, across from the NOTU MWR Greenhouse.
