Dillon Pierce, a Ph.D. student at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS), briefs Under Secretary of the Navy Erik Raven on his research into developing consumer-grade rocket systems utilizing a low-cost control system. Raven was at NPS to participate in the second annual Naval Space Summit, which provides an essential venue for top Department of Defense and Department of the Navy officials to discuss the state of space operations and capabilities within the services, as well as the latest issues and opportunities in the space domain.
