Melissa Coburn, commander, 22nd Air Force speaks to the staff and instructors of the Advanced Airlift Tactics Training Center at Rosecrans Air National Guard Base, in St. Joseph, Missouri, April 24, 2024. While visiting the various sections with AATTC leadership, she was able to talk with reservists, and demo the Advanced Visual Threat Recognition and Avoidance Trainer. 22nd AF is responsible for recruiting and training reservists and for maintaining subordinate units at the highest level of combat readiness. Since 1983 the AATTC has provided advanced tactical training to airlift aircrews from the Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve Command, Air Mobility Command, U.S. Marine Corps and 17 allied nations.
