An U.S. Air Force Airman assigned to the 23rd Maintenance Squadron begins painting the nose art onto an A-10C Thunderbolt II at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, July 17, 2024. Throughout this repainting process painting the nose art was done in several steps that utilized a slew of different paints over multiple days – allowing the paint to cure between coats.
