Paratroopers assigned to 1st Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division Artillery, regroup after nightfall following a day of rigorous training on the M777 Howitzer during Division Artillery Readiness Training as part of Panther Avalanche at Fort Liberty, North Carolina, July 26, 2024. DART is a standardized assessment utilized in DIVARTY's artillery units that measures competency in multiple areas. Panther Avalanche is an exercise aimed to train and evaluate Paratroopers from the “Panther Brigade” as they prepare for a rotation at the Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Johnson, Louisiana, in September and assume the role of the immediate response force postured to fight and win anywhere in the world.
