Staff Sgt. Lisa Cottnoff and U. S. Air Force Master Sgt. Nicholas Petchell from the 142nd Logistics Readiness Squadron pack up their lunch provided by the 142nd Force Support Squadron (FSS) at Portland Air National Guard Base, Portland, Ore., on Aug. 3, 2024. FSS recently obtained a mobile kitchen known as an ESPEK (Expandable Single Pallet Expeditionary Kitchen) which FSS Airmen trained on by preparing lunch for wing Airmen. Babington Technology invented the ESPEK, which allows for faster assembly time, thirty minutes by four people, and can sustain feeding 550 troops in a field environment.
