Soldiers of King Battery, 1st Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment fire an artillery round from an M109A6 Paladin Self Propelled Howitzer earlier this year from Forward Operating Base Warhorse in Diyala province, Iraq. King Battery, which is close to surpassing the most rounds fired by an artillery battery in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, provides fires support to the 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division from Fort Lewis, Wash.
