Military Sealift Command (MSC) civilian mariners perform underway replenishment operations from the deck of the MSC dry cargo/ammunition ship USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE 11) during an underway replenishment operation during the international maritime exercise, Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2024.
Throughout the six-weeks long exercise, MSC fleet replenishment oiler USNS Pecos (T-AO 197), and Washington Chambers delivered nearly four million gallons DFM ship fuel and over one million gallons JP5 aviation fuel, and 1256 pallets of food, dry stores, mechanical parts, supplies and mail, to U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard, and foreign navies’ surface and aviation forces through a series of 101 UNREPS.
