Canadian Army Capt. Brian Cobby, an Armored Direct Fire Specialist team leader, speaks at the Fort Bliss Master Gunner Conference held at the Simulation Center located on Fort Bliss, Texas, Aug. 6, 2024. The role of the master gunner is to advise commanders on everything related to vehicle platforms and weapon systems. Master gunners also develop training materials to conduct gunnery and live-fire exercises to ensure readiness and combat power within their organizations.
