Soldiers assigned to the Joint Task Force-National Capital Region and the U.S. Army Military District of Washington participated in the 2024 MDW Best Squad Competition at Fort Mary Walker, Va., and Fort McNair, Washington D.C., from Aug. 5 to Aug. 9, 2024. They were tested on land navigation, patrol lanes, weapons lanes, medical lanes, and a field board over the course of the week.
