Students belonging to the St. Stephens Episcopal School football team receive a training brief at the CCTT (Close Combat Tactical Trainer) on Fort Cavazos, Texas, Aug. 13, 2024. The CCTT offered the students the opportunity to experience different types of simulated training that US Army Soldiers go through here at Ft. Cavazos. These simulated experiences ranged from riding in M1A2 Abrams tanks to shooting a 30mm cannon on a M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle. This event helped connect III Corps to the local community, but also supported the DoD and U.S. Army’s community engagement and recruiting efforts. (U.S. Army Photo by Sgt.
