Cross-laminated timber panels prepared for testing at the structural load floor, Construction Engineering Research Laboratory, US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Champaign, Ill. ERDC is supporting USACE Seattle District with additional research and data analysis throughout the pilot project's lifespan. Lessons learned will be applied to future sustainable barracks and various Department of Defense projects, such as the FY25 Mass Timber Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing (UPEH) Barracks project on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.
