240717-N-FA490-1057 KANEOHE BAY, Hawaii (July 17, 2024) Retired U.S. Marine Corps Col. Patrick Tucker, Marine Corps Lt. Col. Michael Radigan, U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Zachary Vrtis, Navy Lt. Ashley Adams and Navy Lt. Andrew Staley showcase various parts printed with an XSPEE3D expeditionary cold spray printer during Exercise Trident Warrior 2024. The exercise brought together personnel from the Naval Postgraduate School, the Marine Innovation Unit, FLEETWERX and industry to demonstrate advanced manufacturing technology in an expeditionary scenario. NPS, located in Monterey, California, provides defense-focused graduate education, including classified studies and interdisciplinary research, to advance the operational effectiveness, technological leadership, and warfighting advantage of the Naval service. Established in 1909, NPS offers master’s and doctorate programs to Department of Defense military and civilians, along with international partners, to deliver transformative solutions and innovative leaders through advanced education and research.
