KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany - U.S. Army Retired Brig. Gen. (Dr.) Rhonda Cornum (center) was guest speaker at the 2024 Military Medicine Ball held Aug. 21. Cornum, former commander of Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, is a recipient of the Purple Heart and was a Prisoner of War (POW) during the 1991 Gulf War. Approximately 400 U.S. Army, Air Force and Navy medical personnel from across Europe took part in the inaugural ball. Pictured with Cornum are U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Roger Giraud and his wife Kelly.
