The Mr. Pat is a four deck, 82 foot maintenance tow used to move maintenance barges and equipment for the Tulsa District's Navigation Project. Walter and SWD leaders were visiting Webbers ahead of the lock's dewatering. Webbers Falls Lock & Dam 16 is one of five lock and dams the Tulsa District operates and maintains on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System. The MKARNS is a 445-mile navigation channel comprised of 18 locks and dams that enable navigation on the Arkansas River from Oklahoma to the Mississippi River. Tulsa District operates and maintains five locks and dams in Oklahoma and the Little Rock District operates and maintains 13 locks in Arkansas.
