Ansbach, Germany (5 September 2024) U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) Ansbach in cooperation with 12th Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB) hosted over 200 German children from several surrounding communities from Ansbach and Illesheim area for a kid’s summer fun program during the month of August.
The German children visited the garrison’s fire department where they learnt many facts about being a firefighter for USAG Ansbach. After the walkthrough of the fire house and demonstrating the fire equipment, the children had the opportunity to cool-off by playing the popular water game, which the kids spray water at small fire truck toys in lanes trying to be the first across the finish line at the fire department.
USAG Ansbach is a U.S. Army Power Projection Platform consisting of aviation, engineering, and artillery assets spread across nine kasernes in the heart of Middle Franconia, Germany.
