A U.S. Army sign that hung around the perimeter of Berlin , that was occupied by U.S. forces after World War II ended is displayed at the Museum of Aviation collocated at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, Aug. 16, 2024. At the end of the war, Soviet troops established a blockade dividing Berlin into two halves leading to the U.S. and allied forces delivering essential food and supplies by cargo plane to those living in the Soviet occupied zone as part of the Berlin Airlift.
