NORFOLK, Va. (Sept. 5, 2024) – Adm. Darryl Caudle, commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, (USFFC), right, and Gen. Gregory Guillot, commander, North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command, middle right, tours the control room aboard the Virginia-class fast-attack submarine USS Washington (SSN 787) during the annual Commander’s Conference Sept. 5, 2024. Fleet Forces hosted a two-day commander's conference to discuss strategies for homeland defense, including globally integrated deterrence and layered defense, at the two-day forum with leaders from all of NORAD’s and USNORTHCOM’s component, region, and seperate commands.
