FORT WALKER, Va. – Spc. Sean Sobik, a 35P, signals intelligence voice interceptor assigned to D Company, 782d Military Intelligence Battalion (Cyber), Cyber Legion, is completing 30 hand-release pushups as part of the Expert Soldier Badge Physical Fitness Assessment, the first event of the 780th MI Brigade (Cyber) 2024 Best Squad Competition (BSC), September 10.
Soldiers started with a one-mile run, then completed 30 hand-release pushups, a 100-meter sprint, lifted 16 sandbags over a 66” tall platform, 50-meter farmers carry with two 40-pound water cans, a 25-meter-high crawl, a 25 meter three-five second rush, and another one-mile run. The seven events that make up the EPFA must be completed within 27:30 minutes for EIB or 30:00 minutes for ESB and EFMB.
Sobik is a member of the 2024 Brigade Best Squad as well as the Brigade’s Soldier of the Year for 2024.
