U.S. Army 68A Biomedical Equipment Specialists from the 551st Medical Company-Logistics follow procedures during technical inspection on one of the freezer ultra-low temperature blood plasma freezers during an operational test conducted by the U.S. Army Medical Test and Evaluation Activity at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, on 15 August 2024. USAMTEAC, in collaboration with the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity Program Executive Office Soldier, Soldier Medical Devices, conducted a significant operational test of advanced blood storage technologies from August 16 to 19, 2024. This test was carried out with the support of the 153rd Medical Detachment, Blood Support, and the 551st Medical Company-Logistics of the 62nd Medical Brigade.
