YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 27, 2024) – Chief Retail Services Specialist Tommie Davis, from Chicago, assigned to U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), salutes sideboys after being promoted to chief petty officer during the chief pinning ceremony at the Benny Decker Theater on Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Sept. 27, 2024. Thirteen selectees were promoted to chief petty officer during the pinning ceremony. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and routinely operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific.
