NEW ORLEANS —— The U.S. Army is set to promote career opportunities at Bonnabel High School, Friday, Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the ‘Step Up Aim High Career Fest’, Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Each event’s location showcases the Army’s world-class, interactive demonstration trailer titled the American Soldier Adventure, featuring an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Robot display, a Night Vision Interactive Exhibit and Weapon Simulator, to name a few.
“After several successful visits and participation at high schools and cultural events throughout the city recently, we [the Army] want to continue our pace of support for the greater New Orleans communities,” New Orleans Recruiting Company Commander, Capt. Matthew Gimenez, said. “The fun part for these events is the interactive trailer, and the sincere part is our effort to offer professional opportunities in our communities.”
