    Alaska Army National Guardsmen assigned to the 207th Aviation Troop Command operate a UH-72A Lakota light utility helicopter while completing pre-deployment training at Bryant Army Airfield on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Oct. 1, 2024. A detachment of approximately 20 Alaska Guardsmen and two UH-72A Lakotas from the 207th ATC will deploy for about 12 months to support the U.S Customs and Border Protection as part of the federal Southwest Border Mission.
