    BAY OF BENGAL (Oct. 6, 2024) – Ensign Kenneth Wortley, from Tucson, Arizona, fires an M240B machine gun as Fire Controlman 2nd Class Nathan Ritchie, from Murrietta, California, provides instructions during crew-served weapons qualifications on the forecastle aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) while operating in the Bay of Bengal, Oct. 6, 2024. Dewey is forward-deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
