BAY OF BENGAL (Oct. 6, 2024) – Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class Aijai Schultz, from Savannah, Georgia, aims a .50-caliber machine gun during crew-served weapons qualifications on the forecastle aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) while operating in the Bay of Bengal, Oct. 6, 2024. Dewey is forward-deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
