Fire Prevention Week is Oct. 6-12. The theme of the 2024 campaign is “Smoke alarms: Make them work for you.” The Arnold Air Force Base Fire and Emergency Services Fire Prevention Office is joining the National Fire Protection Association, which sponsors Fire Prevention Week, in encouraging people to ensure that smoke alarms are properly installed, regularly tested and replaced when necessary.
