    GROTON, Conn. (Oct 9, 2024) Royal Navy Commodore Roger Readwin presents the Coronation Medal to Surgeon Commander Alistair Morris, Naval Submarine Medical Research Laboratory’s (NSMRL) UK Exchange Officer, with Capt. Tatana Olson, NSMRL executive officer. The coronation medal is a commemorative medal created to mark the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, and is awarded to select UK military personnel. Preceding the ceremony, Cdre Readwin received a brief presentation on NSMRL’s capabilities and met with NSMRL leadership. NSMRL, part of Navy Medicine’s Research & Development Enterprise, and based out of Groton, Connecticut, sustains the readiness and superiority of undersea warfighters through innovative health and performance research and works to lead the world in delivering science solutions to ensure undersea warrior dominance.
