Gen. John Lamontagne, Air Mobility Command commander, recognizes Capt. Isaac Lewis, 14th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron Director of Staff, during his visit to the 89th Airlift Wing at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, Oct. 9, 2024. As Director of Staff, Lewis manages the 14th EAS’s external engagements to include awards, taskers, and decorations. He single-handedly handled all Defense Travel System authorizations for over 170 deployed personnel, working hand-in-hand with the Joint Base Charleston finance team, ensuring timely payments to all deployed members. He was essential to the timely issuing of contingency, exercise and deployment (CED) orders for the 14th EAS, enabling an on-time stand-up of the Pelicans at Banner Express, working closely with the 89th Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron, and 89th AW.
