I Corps’ Deputy Commanding General, Maj. Gen. Matthew McFarlane led a panel discussion with the U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) Command Sergeant Major, Command Sgt. Maj. Jason Schmidt and leaders from the Indo-Pacific region during a Warrior’s Corner event at the 2024 AUSA Conference in Washington, D.C, Oct. 15. McFarlane discussed I Corps' and USARPACs role in building joint and combined readiness and interoperability across the Indo-Pacific through multilateral exercises and strategic engagements. Other panel members included the 11th Airborne Division Commander Maj. Gen Joseph Hilbert, the 593rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command Commander Brig. Gen Kevin Cotman, the 7th Infantry Deputy Division Commander, Brig. Gen. Joseph Ewers, the Eighth Army Command Sergeant Major, Command Sgt. Maj. Robin Bolmer, and the 25th ID Lightning Academy First Sergeant, First Sgt. David Beck.
