ANSBACH, Germany (October 15, 2024) Engineering contractors with the firm WSP look over system equipment during the U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach (USAG) per- and polyfluorinated chemicals (PFAS) start of operation event for the installation's state-of-the-art environmental Pump and Treat facility on Katterbach Kaserne.
The USAG Ansbach PFAS Pump and Treat system is planned to process around 135 cubic meters of water per day and will remain in operation for many years. Plant operation will be accompanied by an extensive groundwater monitoring campaign.
