Bruno, the Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego and Western Recruiting Region mascot, spins a wheel at a San Diego Sports Military Alliance event, Oct. 8, 2024, at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California. The mascot’s job is to boost morale, participate in outreach work, and attend events and ceremonies. The San Diego Gulls are a part of the San Diego Sports Military Alliance, and host events at all major military installations in the area to show their commitment and support our military communities.
