Vendors, contestants and Marines from the Western Recruiting Region take part in the 2024 Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego Boot Camp Challenge at MCRD San Diego, California, Oct. 19, 2024. For the past 23 years, MCRD San Diego has hosted the bootcamp Challenge, a three-mile obstacle course race guided by 60 drill instructors that highlights the physical and mental demands of bootcamp.
