Pensacola, Fl - NIOC Pensacola’s Warrior of the Week is CTR1 Haag.
Originally from Minnesota, Petty Officer Haag has been in the Navy since 2018 and served his first tour at NIOC Hawaii as part of the Direct Support Department before coming to NIOC Pensacola. CTR1 Haag has been filling in as the Operations Lead for his team, hosting internal syncs while driving a mission of 18 Sailors across various lines of effort. Petty Officer Haag has also been filling in as the Lead Reporter for his team, helping them compile and draft information into multiple intelligence products. Recently, he selflessly sprang into action during a medical emergency to assist a fellow Sailor. CTR1 Haag constantly proves that he is dependable and always willing to help, which is why he was chosen as this week’s Warrior of the Week!
Fun Fact: Petty Officer Haag plays several instruments, such as the guitar and clarinet, and performs with the Pensacola Bay Concert Band. He is also a member of the Pensacola Ham Radio Club and his hero is wrestling superstar Joe Hendry.
