Residents can also sign-up at www.blueroof.gov, or by calling 888-ROOF-BLU (888-766-3258). The sign-up period ends Nov.14. USACE is tasked by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to assist eligible homeowners with temporary roof repairs. The Operation Blue Roof Program provides temporary blue covering with fiber-reinforced sheeting to help reduce further damage to property until permanent repairs can be made.
