U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Hurricane Milton Emergency Field Office Commander Maj. Matt Westcott interviews with Citrus 95.3 radio’s Stephanie Tyler in Lecanto, Florida Oct. 30 to tell the local community about the Operation Blue Roof program. The operation is a priority mission managed by USACE for FEMA. The mission’s purpose is to provide homeowners in disaster areas with blue-colored, fiber-reinforced sheeting to temporarily cover their damaged roofs until arrangements can be made for permanent repairs. This is a free service for homeowners. (U.S. Army photo by Stacey Reese)
