Fifty-eight civilian employers from 28 different companies of New York Air National Guard Airmen from the 106th Rescue Wing stand in front of an HC-130J Combat King II search and rescue aircraft at Francis S. Gabreski Air National Guard Base, Westhampton Beach, N.Y., Nov. 2, 2024. The employers participated in an Employer Support of Guard and Reserve 'Boss Lift,' learned about the wing’s critical search and rescue mission and the role their Guard members play in the mission.
