Kelly, the Deputy Commanding General for Civil Works and Emergency Operations (right), recognizes Jerry Breznican, Nashville District chief of Emergency Management, for his team's ongoing efforts in the Hurricane Helene response in East Tennessee, druing a visit to the district on Nov. 14, 2024. The Nashville District's emergency management team has been vital in coordinating USACE's response to the Hurricane Helene effected area in East Tennessee through the management of funding, processing taskers and providing continuous logistical support for deployed USACE responders.
