A combined marching band consisting of the U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa Band and Latvian National Guard Orchestra perform and march in Latvia’s Independence Day parade in Riga, Latvia, Nov. 18, 2024. Through the universal language of music, the USAFE-AFAFRICA Band fostered connections with Latvian communities, reinforcing the U.S. and Latvian alliance and celebrating the shared values of democracy, freedom and peace in the Euro-Atlantic region.
