U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 820th Base Defense Group provide backup for a potential altercation during Exercise Global Eagle at Avon Park Air Force Range, Florida, Nov. 13, 2024. Through realistic scenarios, the exercise sharpened skills in protecting essential assets and maintaining control in high-stress situations. Global Eagle is an annual base defense exercise conducted between international partners with this year’s iteration including the U.S. Air Force, Royal Air Force, and Royal Norwegian Air Force designed to exchange tactics and advance interoperability for these international partners.
