U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 820th Base Defense Group engage a simulated hostile threat during Exercise Global Eagle at Avon Park Air Force Range, Florida, Nov. 15, 2024. The exercise enhanced their ability to respond to enemy fire and protect critical assets under realistic combat conditions. Global Eagle is an annual base defense exercise conducted between international partners with this year’s iteration including the U.S. Air Force, Royal Air Force, and Royal Norwegian Air Force designed to exchange tactics and advance interoperability for these international partners.
