A U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J Super Hercules aircraft assigned to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 153, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing takes-off from Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California, Nov. 19, 2024. The KC-130J transported a Deployable Mission Rehearsal Trainer F-35 Lightning II simulator training system from MCAS Miramar to MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, to increase training options for F-35 pilots assigned to 1st MAW and deployed to the Indo-Pacific.
