A simulated explosive device is utilized during training on an explosives range for U.S. Marine Corps explosive ordnance disposal technicians stationed on Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California, Nov. 20, 2024. EOD technicians punctured the casing with a 12-gauge round shot from a percussion actuated nonelectric disrupter to disable explosive devices. EOD units from Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 373, Marine Air Control Group 38, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing and Headquarters & Headquarters Squadron, MCAS Miramar train together in live ranges to upkeep a professional standard.
