A Montford Point Marine speaks with other Marines who attended the christening of the USNS Montford Point at the General Dynamics NASSCO Shipyard, March 2. More than 30 original Montford Point Marines attended the ceremony as the Navy launched its first mobile landing platform that can haul 380,000 gallons of fuel and provide up to 25,000 square feet of space to store vehicles and equipment.
