GULFPORT, Mississippi (Nov. 4, 2024) Construction Mechanic 2nd Class Colin McGee, from Canonsburg, Pa., assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, performs medium tactical vehicle replacement maintenance onboard Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, Miss. Nov. 4, 2024. NMCB 1 is a globally deployed unit under 22nd Naval Construction Regiment (NCR) and 30th NCR in support of Commander, Task Force (CTF) 68 and CTF 75. The CTF executes command and control of assigned Navy Expeditionary Combat Forces across the 6th and 7th Fleet area of operations respectively to defend U.S., allied, and partner interests.
