MARI, Cyprus (Nov. 8, 2024) Engineering Aid 3rd Class Oscar Gonzalez, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, deployed under 22nd Naval Construction Regiment, operates the Trimble R12 system to get exact elevation shots, this lets the Equipment Operators know where and how much material to move at the project, Nov. 8, 2024. NMCB 1 is forward deployed under 22 NCR in support of Commander, Task Force 68, which executes command and control of assigned Navy Expeditionary Combat Forces across the 6th Fleet across the U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa area of operations, in support of U.S. Sixth Fleet maritime operations to defend U.S., allied, and partner interests.
