MARI, Cyprus (Nov. 8, 2024) Construction Mechanic 2nd Class Samuel Tucker, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, deployed under 22nd Naval Construction Regiment, performs a valve lash adjustment on a Cat 420E Backhoe, Nov. 8, 2024. NMCB 1 is forward deployed under 22 NCR in support of Commander, Task Force 68, which executes command and control of assigned Navy Expeditionary Combat Forces across the 6th Fleet across the U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa area of operations, in support of U.S. Sixth Fleet maritime operations to defend U.S., allied, and partner interests.
