Aviation Maintenance Administrationman Airman Dalton Blake, from Aloha, Oregon, poses for a portrait in the Ronald Reagan museum onboard Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), while underway in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations, Dec. 7, 2024. Blake’s inspiration for joining the Navy was his great uncle, Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class Marshall Coffman, who perished during the Pearl Harbor attack on Dec. 7, 1941, while serving aboard Pennsylvania-class battleship USS Arizona (BB-39). Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
