A U.S. Air Force Airman assigned to the 820th Base Defense Group receives care in a simulated mass casualty event as part of Exercise Global Eagle at Avon Park Air Force Range, Florida, Nov. 14, 2024. The exercise provided opportunities for participants to respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care in challenging scenarios. Global Eagle is an annual base defense exercise conducted between international partners with this year’s iteration including the U.S. Air Force, Royal Air Force, and Royal Norwegian Air Force designed to exchange tactics and advance interoperability for these international partners.
