A group of HH-60W Jolly Green II helicopters, assigned to the 943d Rescue Group, sit on the flight line at Joint Forces Training Base Los Alamitos in California, during Exercise Distant Fury Stallion/Steel Knight on Dec. 11, 2024. Steel Knight is an annual exercise that takes place in multiple locations across the Southwest that allows I Marine Expeditionary Force to train as a full Marine Air-Ground Task Force and better integrate with joint and naval forces. This joint exercise with the Marine Corps and Navy provides an opportunity to validate the 920th Rescue Wing's interoperability in remote, austere conditions such as the Indo-Pacific region.
